CHARLOTTE RESCUE MISSION
SPEAKER AND PROGRAM SUPPORT / 2025

The Charlotte Rescue Mission served as the club meeting speaker at the February Meeting of the Charlotte Woman's Club/Junior Woman's Club of Charlotte. Club members learned about how the Charlotte Rescue Mission serve the homeless population of Charlotte.

On February 21, ladies from the Charlotte Woman’s Club volunteered with Charlotte Rescue Mission’s Rebound - a center providing residential drug and alcohol recovery at no cost for men that could otherwise not afford it.

Our members volunteered for Lunch Hospitality entailing prepping the dining hall for lunch with a little elbow grease and serving a meal to all residents and staff. The members were greeted with warmth and smiles by all staff and residents making them feel welcomed and extremely valued. Before starting meal service, the group gathered for prayer and the warmest introduction of the day’s volunteers.

The opportunity to be in the community to support amazing organizations such as Charlotte Rescue Mission is what makes being a part of CWC so rewarding and fulfilling.
