Grants

Our club supports 501(c)3 organizations through annual grant requests. The grant applications are sent out in November to organizations that request funding. The applications are due mid December. Organizations that are approved for grant funding are notified via email in the spring, and funds are dispersed by May 31st. Organizations seeking funding must apply annually.

Organizations must provide a copy of their 501(c)3 designation letter with the grant application.  In addition, current and budgeted financial information is required. 

The Charlotte Woman's Club prioritizes organizations who focus on communities in the Charlotte Metropolitan area and the state of North Carolina.

Annual Grant Cycle:

  • Requests for grant applications by November 1st
  • Applications sent mid-November
  • Deadline for application submission mid December (actual deadline will be provided on the application as deadlines may change year to year)
  • Notifications of grant status - April
  • Final checks dispersed by May 31st.
  • Note: Inquires are accepted all year, however the execution of the grant cycle will rarely change.
