We are so excited to kick off the 2019-20 club year with our September meeting on Tuesday the 17th. The return of The Charlotte Woman’s Club always signals the return of school and football. Please wear your school or team colors to the meeting.

We are so grateful to Susie Harris for hosting us.  Her address will be provided in your confirmation emails once you have submitted your RSVP.

Please join us at 6:30pm for social time and a membership activity.  

This is a friendly reminder that club dues of $100 are due in September.  Checks are to be made out to Charlotte Woman's Club (CWC).  Bring your dues payment to the September business meeting or mail to Gay Warren at 140 River Wood Dr, Fort Mill, SC 29715.  If you have any questions feel free to email her at gdwarren@comporium.net.

We will be collecting veggie peelers, small paring knives and medium cutting boards (about 8"x 10") to donate to Refugee Support Services to give to their families with fresh vegetables they distribute.  This is our community service project for September so the club will be providing additional peelers and paring knives towards the collection.  Please bring them to the meeting.  If you are unable to attend the meeting but want to contribute please email Jennifer Nelson at maineiacrunner@gmail.com to arrange for a pick-up/drop off or send a financial contribution and she will use that to purchase additional items for the veggie kits.

Our guest speaker will be Rachel Humphries, Executive Director at Refugee Support Services.  We provided them with a grant last Spring and will learn more about how they use our funds to support local refugee families.
